What We're All About
Montessori Mosaic provides Montessori teachers, students, parents and others in the community with a beautiful way to appreciate, teach about, understand and communicate the Montessori philosophy.A photographic mosaic is an image that has been divided into equal sized sections, or tiles, each of which is replaced with another photograph of appropriate average color. 
When viewed as a whole the individual tiles appear as the primary image while close examination reveals that it is in fact made up of many hundreds or thousands of smaller images.
The tiles that comprise the larger picture are small photographs of Montessori lessons and other meaningful images.
There is also a blog where "all things Montessori" are explored and discussed.
How We Began
Montessori Mosaic was founded shortly after the first mosaic was created to fulfill an assignment in philosophy class during my training as a Montessori teacher.
